Terms of Service.

The working agreement between Rootstuff and the people we build for. Plain language, no surprises.

The agreement

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Rootstuff's website and services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

Services

Rootstuff provides WordPress development, website maintenance, and custom web application services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project are defined in individual project agreements or maintenance plan terms provided separately.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in individual project agreements. For maintenance plans, billing occurs monthly. Overdue invoices may result in suspension of services. We will always give notice before anything is paused.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the custom code we write for your project. We retain the right to use general techniques, knowledge, and non-proprietary components in future work. Any open-source libraries used remain under their respective licenses.

Limitation of Liability

We do our best to deliver reliable, secure work, but we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the specific service in question.

Website Maintenance

Maintenance plans cover the services described in your plan tier. We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party plugins, hosting providers, or changes made outside of our management. We will always do our best to help resolve issues regardless of the cause.

Termination

Either party can terminate a maintenance plan with 30 days' written notice. Project-based work is governed by the terms of the individual project agreement. We will always try to wrap things up cleanly.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active clients. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
